We Grow Raw Bones – Pet Food
Approximately 1 pound vacuum-sealed bags of frozen bones harvested fresh during the processing of our fryer rabbits. Each bag contains rabbit trim, fat, and bones with a majority of the meat removed from the hind legs, front legs, spine and/or rib cage. Raw bones are generally okay for large dogs to consume but we do not take responsibility for any injuries your pet incurs eating raw animal bones. That said, our faithful Labrador EmmyLou has been eating raw rabbit bones for her entire life without issues.
This is a large domestic breed of rabbit raised entirely on our farm under very caring and humane conditions. Every rabbit is fed a vegetarian diet with no animal by-products included in their rations. A large portion of their food is grown right here on our farm. They are also completely free from antibiotics and growth hormones. Rabbit meat is one of the most nutritious domesticated meats you can possibly consume and the process of growing rabbits for meat is very low impact on our environment. We are glad to share our recipes and cooking tips if it is your first time preparing rabbit.
