We Grow Pasture-Raised, Heritage Breed Pork

Butt bacon comes from the front shoulder – or butt of the hog. It is similar to ham with slightly more fat. We often use it as a breakfast meat, but it can also be used on pizzas, charcuterie, or in ham dishes. It does not have a long, strip side bacon shape, but is more rounded like ham. Butt bacon is pre-sliced in 1 lb packages, vacuum-sealed and frozen.

We Grow bacon is processed at Geiss Meats in Merrill, WI where it is cured with MSG/nitrate-free ingredients. All We Grow pork products are USDA inspected and we are state licensed to sell meat both from our farm or at the farmers market.
