We Grow Rabbit Hind Leg Quarters Bone-In
This is a large domestic breed of rabbit raised entirely on our farm under very caring and humane conditions. Every rabbit is fed a vegetarian diet with no animal by-products included in their rations. A large portion of their food is grown right here on our farm. They are also completely free from antibiotics and growth hormones. Rabbit meat is one of the most nutritious domesticated meats you can consume and the process of growing rabbits for meat is very low impact on our environment. We are glad to share our recipes and cooking tips if it is your first time preparing rabbit.
Our favorite method for preparing rabbit to keep it tender and moist, is braising. We use a variety of flavors depending what we have on hand. This Stewed Rabbit with White Wine and Mushrooms recipe is the base for our take on braised rabbit.
