We Grow Baby Potatoes in a variety of colors

Sold by the quart container for $4 (just over 1 lb).

During the months of July and August, our potatoes are not yet cured and considered “new” therefore we recommend purchasing in small quantities and eating them within a week or they will turn soft. The earliest reds are our favorite! Small tubers are about 1/3 their finished “fall size.” These are considered baby due to their small size. Perfect for boiling and smashing with bacon, cheese, parsley, butter and sour cream to be specific. The rest of the season, we select out small tubers that are 2″ or less in diameter. After the month of September, these baby potatoes are considered cured and will last longer in storage than “new” potatoes harvested in the summer months.

  • Baby Yellow: Gold skins and gold inner flesh, this season our baby yellow is German Butterball variety
  • Baby Red: Red skins and white inner flesh, this season our red variety is Red Prairie variety
  • Baby Purple-Gold: Purple skin but beautiful gold inner flesh, this variety is Peter Wilcox
  • Baby Tri-Color: A combination of the three varieties listed above
  • Baby All-Blue: Purple skin AND purple inner flesh, the ideal roasting potato, this variety is called Magic Molly
