We Grow Broccoli
Sold as heads (large or small) or side shoots at $3.50 per lb.
Our broccoli is grown using only organic methods. That means no chemicals and no sprays to control insects. Early tunnel grown broccoli is generally not infested with any insects but please do not be surprised by insects in your cole crops from our farm. We encourage you to soak broccoli in a mild salt or vinegar solution before it hits the table. And please appreciate the chemicals that are not inside your We Grow produce.
Please note that side shoots grow from the plant after we harvest the head. Shoots are composed of more leaf than flower, but they are very tender and you can eat the entire product as it is all new growth. Works great in dishes where you cook the broccoli, but will not be a valid substitute on a vegetable platter.
