Description
In the spring of the year, these are sold in the bunch of three large or four to five small with the greens attached. In the fall, we remove the tops for long storage purposes. For all early-season orders, please indicate in your notes if you prefer the tops removed.
Bulk orders include 10 lbs of trimmed beets at a reduced rate. Please inquire if you would like a color other than dark red in your bulk order.
Dark red beets have a strong earthy flavor as opposed to golden beets, which have less geosmin and less earthy flavor. Pink candystripe beets land in between and make a beautiful display sliced against the grain when roasted! Even more lovely when combined with dark red beets and fresh roasting herbs.
